I’ve been asked several times this week, “How was I able to add my LinkedIn profile to my facebook page”. Well, it’s actually quite easy and I would like to share with you how to do it. In case you didn’t know, there are a variety of Applications or Add-ons you can install to personalize and really enhance the experience for people who visit your facebook profile.

To integrate your linkedin Profile into facebook you simply need to install an application. There are several linkedin applications to choose from, but the one I like the most is, “My LinkedIn Profile“. Here are the steps to add it to your facebook profile.

One of the simplest thing you can do to increase your twitter followers is to make sure you have a complete twitter profile. A complete twitter profile means that you have:

Uploaded an image to use as your avatar (no defaults!!)

Included a location in the Locations field

Created an informative Bio.

Uploaded an Image

Failing to change the default image in your twitter profile says 1 of 3 things : Your a newbie, you don’t care enough to change it or more often than not, your a Spam Bot. Anyone one of these things will deter most people from following you. So, it is important to upload your own profile image so that you come across as more trustworthy and genuine.

Including a Location

Entering in a location is also important because this field is one of the key search parameters people use when looking for potential followers within proximity to them. Leaving this field blank would result in your profile not showing up properly in search results and lead to missed opportunities to connect with potential followers.

Informative Bio

Despite the fact that the Bio section is limited to only 160 characters it gives you an opportunity to tell people about yourself and inject a little bit about your personality. All of the information entered into your Bio is searchable as well so should incorporate keywords in your bio that you want people to associate with your business.

Did you know that something as simple as your email signature can be used to market your product or service? We often think of our email signature as a virtual business card and use it to only provide contact details such as (Name, Title, Business Address, Phone, Email and Website).

However, your email signature can be used for much more and can serve as an additional touch point to brand and market your company to customers and prospects. For instance, you could:

Include links to key social profiles (linkedin, facebook, etc…).

Include clear Call-to-Actions ( subscribe to our newsletter letter, join our fanpage, etc…)

Or apply some styling and make a brand impression by incorporating your logo and colors.

It is still important for your email signature to look professional and not distract from the content of your message. Wisestamp is the perfect tool to use to customize your email signature and make it more social media savvy. The application comes with several features, most notably the ability to add links to both your Social Profiles/IM along with icons. It’s an extension to Firefox -( Mozilla web browser) and the browser is required in order to install Wisestamp.

Below is a sample of my own personal email signature I created with Wisestamp:

The program is very user friendly and you should be able to create your email signature in a matter of minutes. To give wisestamp a try visit http://www.wisestamp.com/
